Clean and Simple

Sometimes you've just got to keep it simple when making cards.  At least, that's true for me.

I've got a couple of quick ones to share...

First up is a "Sprinkle" invitation for my BFF.  She's expecting her second daughter next month, and another friend and I threw a mini shower for her to celebrate the occasion.  To suit her style I came up with this CAS card

and here's a sample (or two) of the thank you notes that I whipped up for my daughters' teachers and other VIPs in their lives for the end of the school year

I just love that apple-patterned paper from October Afternoon, and the best way to stretch it is some DIY embellies.  I just glue the paper to some chipboard and then do some fussy cutting.  This makes it studier when raised off the page.

Thanks for stopping by...

Catching Up

Today over at 365 Cards we have a new sponsor, a sketch and a Guest Designer.  It's going to be a fun week, too, because we have a theme, but I'm not telling what it is just yet...

So here's my take on the sketch this week.  I know it's been a while since I've shared a card for the sketch and it was definitely long overdue.  So I won't waste any more time
