Long Time, No Post

Wow - it's been a few weeks since my last post here!

I had an amazing, wonderful, fabulous time in Florida at Walt Disney World!!! My girls enjoyed every second, and we've asked them what their favorite things were, but they can't make up their minds. I guess that's a good thing :)

Here are a couple of my favorite photos:

Above, we're waiting to get into one of several 3D movies they offer at the various parks. And below, my dad is carrying my youngest daughter at the end of a long (but fun!) day. We actually lost our camera on Space Mountain, and although it was damaged beyond repair, it was found and returned to us with the memory card intact - whew! There are a lot of great memories that might've been lost...

I could go on and on about the trip, but the main reason for my post is the latest sketch at 365 Cards. This card came together so quickly that I stared and stared at it before deciding that I was indeed finished.

I really need to thank Basic Grey for sending me several samples of 12x12 paper from their various lines. Because I've used several papers and embellies from them in my card kits, I got the pleasure of sampling some of their newer lines. The cupcakes were cut from the Nook and Pantry line. I also cut one and popped it on the inside.

Metal Mania at 365 Cards!

I'm jumping in this Wednesday with my take on a 365 Cards challenge, which is to put some metal on my card.

I found this little clip in my stash as I was digging around for ideas, and I was inspired to create this "clipboard" card:

I also thought it would be great to beef up my practically non-existent collection of masculine cards - lol!

Now I'm off to get some more cards made and to continue packing for our big family trip coming up this weekend....Disney World, here we come!!!
